As I have surrendered to daily tantra, my life has reoriented to accommodate this new spiritual practice; the great amount of healing that is coming up as a result of it and the Aquarian Triangle Activations™ we have experienced over the last few weeks; and the enormous creativity that accompanies orgasmic activation.

When I misplace my focus on the outer world, I become anxious and that is what happened today. As soon as I started writing late this afternoon, the anxiety passed, and my focus returned. I am learning to ask myself, “Does this task really need to be done at all? And if so, when is the best time to do this task? How can I accomplish it with even greater efficiency?” Sometimes, I will take an hour or two after dinner to do mundane tasks I used to do during the day. I am using my good energy for Soul expression!

I really don’t have any interest in the outer world any longer though I understand what my outer world responsibilities are and I tend to them willingly and with impeccability. My only real interest is Soul-expression and I am witnessing how my daily tantra practice is igniting a continuing outpouring of my Soul. This Soul expression includes feelings from old sexual traumas (sexual abuse and other experiences of domination by men) and writing for hours on-end. The hidden feelings from the experiences of domination, sexual and otherwise, are first revealed through my tantra practice. When I have less sensation than I ordinarily do; when I have a difficult time having an orgasm, I know that something is up for healing. I have learned when to push through and when to yield.

Here’s one entry from this past week’s tantra journal:

"I came over to the Temple today feeling deflated from the new level of trauma that is emerging. I set the grid for my tantra practice by lighting candles, turning on some lovely music and taking the Orgasmic Woman Solutions, and then I began. There was very little sensation and I wanted to stop, yet, I knew better. The goal of patriarchy is to control our sexuality and, thereby, to control us as women. My battle with patriarchy tonight called me to carry on, to break through the shame to the ecstasy that leads me to my Soul. The healing felt insurmountable. I know all things can be healed and understand that all feelings are fleeting. They will surely pass as long as I give them the space to move. It took time and eventually I had an orgasm. My orgasm brought deep grief held since I was 15, as well as feelings of self-disgust. I cried hard for about 15 or 20 minutes, and now I feel much better."

This breakthrough experienced in the realm of my sexuality through the orgasm I had that night, moved to the heart center, activating a deep release, and then to the throat center, spurring a great amount of writing. Orgasm, heart-centered feelings and creative Soul expression reflect our embodiment of the Goddess. We all know the saying “It’s a man’s world.” Personal tantra extracts us from the matrix of patriarchy and leads us to the world of the Sacred Feminine where we discover the infinite well of fulfillment that lies within.

This week explore the connection between your sexuality, your feelings and your creative expression. When you do your tantra practice:

  1. Pay attention to the ebb and flow of your energy. Are things moving easily? Are you feeling blocked or inhibited? Be present with yourself. Be patient with yourself. Be loving towards yourself. Remember, you are doing profound bodywork for the purpose of spiritual healing.

  2. Allow yourself to feel what’s arising in your heart center and express your feelings freely.

  3. Do something creative when you are complete. I love writing in my tantra journal immediately after my practice!
